Every community has people, businesses, educators, and organizations that make it a better place to live, work, learn, and do business. They are the people who go above and beyond, invest their time and talents in others, support local initiatives, and help make Conway County a stronger community.

Now is the time to recognize them!

The Morrilton Area Chamber of Commerce is accepting nominations for the 2026 Annual Banquet & Awards Ceremony, coming up on Monday, November 2, 2026, beginning at 5:00 p.m. We invite community members, businesses, organizations, and civic groups to help us celebrate the outstanding people and projects that make a difference throughout Conway County.

Do you know someone who deserves to be recognized? Have you seen a local business or community project making a real impact? Submit a nomination and help us shine a spotlight on their contributions!

Six Awards. Countless Ways to Make a Difference.

This year's awards recognize achievement, service, leadership, and community investment across several important areas.

  • Citizen of the Year: Recognizes a Conway County resident who is actively involved in the community, demonstrates good character and responsible citizenship, and serves the community in more than one area.

  • Educator of the Year: Honors an educator at a Conway County school or university who inspires students of all backgrounds, plays an active role in both the school and community, and earns the respect and admiration of students, parents, and colleagues.

  • Youth Citizens of the Year: Recognizes outstanding seniors in the 2026–2027 graduating class at Conway County schools. Honorees demonstrate leadership, responsibility, fairness, good citizenship, scholastic achievement, and community involvement. One student will be selected from each Conway County school.

  • Business Site of the Year: Celebrates a Morrilton Area Chamber of Commerce member business that demonstrates community support and maintains a customer-friendly appearance, including an attractive, clean, and well-maintained facility inside and out.

  • Community Project of the Year: Recognizes a project that improves quality of life in Conway County and demonstrates community enhancement, cooperation, and participation. Eligible projects must have shown activity from November 2025 to the present.

  • Education Project of the Year: Honors a unique, interesting, or innovative project completed in a Conway County school. Projects may be new or established and can involve collaboration with a non-educational group or institution.

Help Us Tell Their Stories

A great nomination does more than identify a deserving person, business, or project. It tells the story of why their work matters.

When submitting a nomination, please include a letter explaining why your nominee deserves recognition. Share specific examples of accomplishments, community contributions, service projects, milestones, awards, or other achievements that demonstrate their impact. Photos, videos, and other supporting materials are also welcome.

For project nominations, a letter from the sponsoring organization is required, explaining in detail the project's most significant contributions.

Please review the eligibility criteria included with the nomination form to ensure your nominee qualifies for the award.

The Deadline Is October 16!

All nominations must be received by 4:30 p.m. on Friday, October 16, 2026. Submissions may be delivered by mail, email, or in person to the Morrilton Area Chamber of Commerce office. No submissions will be accepted after the deadline.

The Annual Banquet & Awards Ceremony will take place on Monday, November 2, beginning at 5:00 p.m. Tickets and sponsorship opportunities are available through the Chamber.
