Why Yes on Issue 3?
All surrounding states have economic development tools that Arkansas does not have to bring in new jobs and investments. Yes on 3 eliminates this unfair advantage and gives Arkansans the tools we deserve to fairly compete against other states for new jobs and outside investments. 

Yes on Issue 3 allows local communities the power to decide how to invest in their own community and to grow their local economy.

From fixing up downtowns and helping small businesses to attracting new grocery stores and medical care buildings, the amendment gives small towns the tools they need to thrive.

Yes on 3 does not raise taxes or impact existing revenue. It utilizes new revenue generated by economic growth to fund investments in things like roads, new jobs, safer neighborhoods, and housing.

Yes on 3 ensures local control, transparency and oversight by requiring public hearings, audits, and public reports to disclose where money is being spent.

Yes on 3 empowers Arkansas communities with the same tools neighboring states are already using against us to compete for new economic development and community revitalization.

It allows local Arkansans to decide for themselves what their community needs most and to create Economic Development Districts designed to achieve our goals without raising taxes.
